A Commitment Born From Experience
Our approach to conscious luxury is rooted in lived experience, not theory.
Through years of working in humanitarian contexts and witnessing the realities of global supply chains up close, our founder, Fiorella Erni, became aware of the often invisible human and environmental costs behind systems of extraction and production.
That experience and her love for animals shaped a lasting belief: beauty should never exist without accountability.

Materials With Meaning
Every material at Cheetah Stories is chosen for a reason: how it moves, how it lasts, how it feels against skin after hours of wear.
Our vegan uppers are bio-inspired, some derived from grapes, corn, orange fibres, and mushrooms — raw materials transformed through European innovation into surfaces that are soft, structured, and refined.
On select styles, we use BioFluff®, the world's first 100% plant-based fur alternative, bringing texture and presence to the outside of the shoe without a trace of animal origin. Gel cushioning sits beneath the foot where pressure builds first. Recycled-content outsoles close the loop on what the shoe leaves behind.
Building a single pair of Cheelettos draws on a network of specialised innovation partners and master artisans across Italy. That complexity is a choice. It means we can select every component deliberately rather than reach for whatever is easiest to source.
Luxury made this way takes longer. It should.

We work with skilled artisans in small ateliers, supported by our R&D partner in Vigevano, who helps us refine technical innovation — from sculpted heel structures to responsible material sourcing.

Every decision — from pressure-absorbing insoles to the arch's slope — is made with the body in mind. Because comfort is not indulgence.

A CONSIDERED SUPPLY CHAIN
Responsibility also means proximity.
Our high heels are designed in Switzerland and produced in Italy, with many key suppliers located nearby. This reduces unnecessary transport, allows close collaboration, and enables regular oversight of production practices.
Where raw materials cannot be sourced locally, such as cotton or latex, we work exclusively with certified and regularly audited partners.
Traceability matters. So does a relationship.
Longevity Over Volume
Each year, hundreds of millions of unworn shoes end up in landfills, most of them the result of trend-driven overproduction and inventory that was never meant to sell.
We choose a different rhythm.
We build our collection around timeless designs, a consistent core offering, and made-to-order limited editions that come into existence when someone chooses them. Nothing sits in a warehouse waiting to become waste.
We work across four distinct lasts, each engineered for a different wearing experience and silhouette. Once you find the last that fits you, every pair built on it is crafted to the same specifications. Your size travels with you across styles, reducing returns and the quiet waste that comes with them.
Because sustainability is also about what never gets made.
REPAIR, NOT REPLACE
Longevity is a design decision.
Each pair of our stiletto heels includes a small vanity kit with replacement heel caps and a swatch of vegan leather, allowing local shoemakers to carry out simple repairs and extend the life of your heels. Additional kits are available when needed.
Care is part of ownership.
GIVING BACK
There is only so much a single product can do.
That is why we look beyond it.
We donate 2% of revenue from every pair of our heels to animal rescue, protection, and conservation initiatives—supporting small organisations we know personally and trust to use funds responsibly.
